The Driver and Owner
Brett Griffin
Brett is Mr Griffin-motorsport, he is the owner, the driver and does all the repairs/preparation to the car along with his co-driver Sam Fordham.
He started co-driving in 2003 for Time Motorsport in a Peugot 106 gti and then past his B.A.R.S. test in 2004 when he started the Rally team with the help of Sam.
Brett also co-drives for Damien Rigden on endurance rallys and also services for Phil the tree, who is competing in the BTRDA rounds in a MITSUBISHI Evo 9.
Occupation : Arboriculture (tree surgeon), rally instructor.
Hobbies : Cars, motorcross, rallying.

Sam Fordham
Sam started at griffin-motorsport as the main mechanic but soon got his co-drivers licence and jumped into the car. He's planning to take his B.A.R.S. licence, although he will have to ask Brett very nicely before he can use the pug!!!
Sam also Co-drives for James Watts who competed in the BRCC in 2008 in an ex-works VW Polo. He has on occations Navigated for Phill the Tree in the Evo 9.
Occupation : Trials Technician for KWS-UK.
Hobbies : Farming, Shooting, Rallying

Rob Clark (clarky)
Rob is our 'head' service mechanic. He has been around motorsport for years. He first entered the Rallying scene when he was young when he serviced for his uncle on various national and a few international events.
Rob did his apprenticeship with Lotus and has worked in motorsport ever since. He is a great help and has spent many an evening on the phone to us trying to sort problems out on the car. (sorry Gem!!)
He has just finished building a Pug 106 cup car and is currently competing in clubman events in what is proving to be a very quick little car.
Occupation : Wind tunnel technician for Force India Formular 1 team
Hobbies : Rallying, Racing, General petrolhead!
Rob Springthorp (Robbo)
Robbo is our 'Spanner boy'. He has serviced for Griffin-Motorsport for three years and been very loyal. Even servicing with a broken arm! Now that is dedication. His knowledge has grown and is now very competent.
Rob has always been a rallying enthusiast and used to attend Hillclimbs with his dad, who competed in a historic MG Midget.
Occupation : Stock manager for FLS Aerospace
Hobbies : Skiing, motorsport
Damien Rigden (Daymo)
Damien has helped with Griffinmotorsport from the start. He has been involved with rallying for years, and Co-drives for TNA Rally team in their group N Subaru Impreza. He has been a great help to Brett and Sam in more ways than one!!
Damien also rallys himself in a 1400 Proton Enduro car. These cars are completely standard but still have to run on the rough surfaces that the modified cars do, so this takes a huge amount of skill and as the rallys often run through the night an enormous level of concentration from the driver and co-driver.
Brett has co-driven for damien on Enduro's but found his limit of resistance to car sickness on more than one occasion!!
Occupation : P.E. teacher, Personal Trainer, Farmer (although he wont admit it!!)
